Wolstein Center CSU Convocation Center
Previously known as the CSU Convocation Center, The Wolstein Center CSU Convocation Center - an indoor arena situated in Cleveland, Ohio, is home to the Cleveland State University basketball team and previously, was the home of the Cleveland Crunch and Cleveland Force of the NPSL and MISL. It has also hosted several concerts, conferences and has served as a location for NCAA Men's Basketball tournament games.
On November 1, 1991, which was the day of its completion, at estimating a cost of $55 million, it became the leading university-owned arena in the state of Ohio until the Value City Arena at Ohio State University was completed. The arena seats 13,610 for basketball and can hold 15,000 for concerts and wrestling.
On January 21, 2005, the building was rechristened to the The Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Convocation Center however it still remains generally recognized as the "Convo" Center.
It hosted the 1992 Mid-Continent Conference men’s basketball tournament and the 2002 Horizon League men's basketball tournament.
In 2005, The Bert L. and Iris S. Wolstein Convocation Center was renamed, as a tribute to Bert L. Wolstein, a 1953 graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a 2003 recipient of Cleveland State's Distinguished Alumni Award.
