Farrell picks Ainnie to live in Oliver Warbucks' palatial home for the Christmas holidays.

Although initially scratchy and uncomfortable with each other, Ainnie and Daddy Warbucks soon come close to each other. Warbucks wishes to adopt her, but Ainnie insists that her parents come for her and she has to wait for them. With the help of President and Mrs. Roosevelt, Warbucks offers a reward for the paremnts over the radio show of Bert Healy. Miss Hannigan and her brother, Rooster, and his slightly ditzy girlfriend, Lily St. Regis, come up forward. They pretend to be Ainnie's parents and collect the reward.

However, later when they are found out, it is revealed that Annie's parents have passed away. Warbucks and Annie accept each other and become a family. The buzz this year for the Barn's ‘Ainnie' revolves around one thing: the return of Joe Aiello as Oliver ‘Daddy' Warbucks.
